I am flexible, easy-going and friendly, and I will work with you to make sure your script is word perfect, and that everyone feels at ease and confident in my abilities.As well as a provincially appointed J.P., I am an ordained Minister with the Universal Life Church, and a Handfasting Celebrant. How much does it cost?
Justice of the Peace fees are regulated by the Government of Nova Scotia. The fee for the ceremony is $200, for the J.P. to attend a rehearsal is $100 (optional), plus travel expenses. Gas mileage is charged at the government rate of 51.13 cents/km. Other travel expenses may include parking and ferry tolls. To book my services, I require a deposit of $100.
